Parental Involvement
We are proud of the family atmosphere at our school and we welcome parents as a valuable part of that family.
Each class has its own parent representative who ensures that the lines of communication between school and home are kept open. Many parents also help with reading or swimming and the social committee organises regular social events suitable for parents and families.
We report to parents on children’s progress in a formal report sent home termly, but we also hold regular planned and adhoc parents’ meetings to maintain a continuous dialogue between home and school. Our door is always open to any parent with a query or concern. We work at maintaining good relationships with parents through trust and communication, and have an active parent–teacher association.
